What We Do

What can we do for you?

Every repair is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something is not right when you pick up your truck, tell us and we will make it right.

Semi Truck Repairs

Since 1990, Truck Collision Services has focused on one thing: putting commercial trucks and trailers back on the road the right way. Our 23,000 square foot Lansing facility holds every stage of the job, from the first estimate through frame work, body repair, paint and final inspection. Because nothing is sent out to another shop, we control the quality and the timeline of every repair. Our team holds the I-CAR Gold Class collision repair certification for heavy trucks, and we work with all major insurance companies to keep the claim moving while your truck is in our bays.

Complete Body Work Services

Our complete body work services cover the full exterior of commercial trucks and trailers. We repair and replace panels, hoods, bumpers, fairings, sleepers and trailer sides, then prepare and refinish them so the repair blends with the rest of the truck. Because our paint, frame and body departments all work in the same building, a body repair never waits on another shop.

Restoration

Restoration has been part of Ray Chatfield's work since he started painting trucks in his driveway in 1981. Our restoration process follows the same careful steps as every job: we inspect the truck, agree on the plan, order parts and then start the restoration, handling body, frame, blasting and paint in our own facility.

Collision Repair

Our collision repair follows a clear process: inspection and damage estimate, insurance involvement, parts ordering, disassembly, structural and body repair, paint and refinishing, reassembly, quality inspection and final delivery. Our business holds the I-CAR Gold Class collision repair certification for heavy trucks.

Frame Repair

In 1999 we added 18,000 square feet to our facility so we could offer frame and alignment repairs under our own roof. That means frame straightening, measuring and repair happen right alongside the body and paint work, without subletting.

Front End Alignments

Front end alignments are part of the frame and alignment work we brought in-house in 1999. Whether the alignment is needed after a collision repair or because of everyday wear, we handle it in our own facility.

Axle Alignments

Axle alignments complement our frame and front end work. After a collision or simply after many miles, we check and align the axles on trucks and trailers in the same facility where we do the rest of the repair.

Media Blasting

Media blasting is an important first step in restoration and refinishing. We use it to remove rust, paint and coatings from truck and trailer parts so the body and paint work that follows lasts.

Graphics

Graphics are often the finishing touch after a repair or repaint. We apply truck and trailer graphics so your equipment leaves our shop looking the way your business should.

Wraps

Wraps give you a full new look for your truck or trailer. Because we also handle body work and paint, we can make sure the surface is ready before the wrap goes on.
